Bought this book in the late 1980’s for the help in learning a few blues riffs.
As I read along and applied the concepts it became apparent that there was a lot more than just 12 bar blues. The story is very interesting along with an education. Every few years it is fun to pick it up like someone would a novel, yet it’s more than that it’s an interactive, educational journey. This is my thank you to Richard Daniels for setting it straight on the line. This loving tribute is to your art work, story telling and all the blues legends that set the stage for all the music that followed. If you really want to know the blues, look and poses this book! Hope the music selection shows the examples Richard Daniels is striving to share?
