This blues guitar lesson focuses around a slow 12 bar blues progression in the key of C.

This is similar to a song recorded by Alvin Lee in 10 Years After also called “Slow Blues In C.” But in reality it’s a very common type of riff that could be found in dozens of slow blues songs over the years.

The chords center around C7, F9, and G9. It is a 12 bar blues progression with a little guitar riff between each chord.

It also uses what I call “the blues half step” a lot and i think you’ll have a lot of fun playing this one. I got a lot of requests for a lesson in this style so I hope you dig it.
