I know that doesn’t sound helpful but take it at face value. Take the G minor pentatonic but add a major third and intersperse the E minor once in a while. In fact if you’ll look at the blues playing of top shelf players like BB King, Peter Green, Freddie King, Stevie Ray, Duke Robillard, Robben Ford, et al, you’ll see that they all have their little habits of mixing scales in their own ways, but they ALL do it!
