‘Waiting For A Friend’ is from Roger Daltrey and is from the soundtrack of the movie ‘McVicar’ (a film by The Who). It’s written by Billy Nicholls. The McVicar soundtrack was basically an album from The Who, but one which has a bunch a guest musicians on it. The whole album is excellent and contains some serious talent and great music! In my opinion, it’s an essential part of The Who’s catalog!
NOTE: I realized after listening to this that the guitar sounds kind of angry! Sorry about that. I’m having a bad ‘allergy’ day and am on a double dose of allergy meds! LOL! So, if I miss a note or two or the guitar is a bit louder than usual, please forgive! 😉
