What I suggest is using these licks as starting points, from which you can add your own touches and ideas. Each take starts with a lick reminiscent of the intro to ‘Sweet Sixteen’, and focuses on the six-note ‘B.B. King Box’ which, in the key of C, as here, includes the notes (string then fret) G14, B13, B15, B16, E13 and E15.
