  1. Arh sooo good to hear Jeremy Spencer mentioned!

  2. For some reason, i never think of a Strat sounding very good with slide…but sounds good here! Open D is such a great tuning, with so many possibilities. Check "Rosetta West – Suzie" for some good raw open D slide, or "Rosetta West – Morning Star" for a more Eastern, exotic sound in D.

  3. Billy Gibbons used it too, he covered Dust My Broom on an album.

  4. nice elmore james at the beginnning

  5. told you before to clean your finger nails… hhhaa?

  6. I had a fender squire strat lyin around in open D but couldn’t figure out how to play it. Then I watched this video and it really helped, if you want to hear the results heat to my channel and have a listen. And Thanks so much for posting this video!!!!

  11. Man, you sound just like Bruce Springsteen when I hear you narrating. I also love "Dinky" (Jeremy Spencer) especially when he was with the original lineup of Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green! Give me the "Supernatural" or the "Green Manalishi" any day!

  12. I’m a newbie on slide blues, can I just use any metal tube on my finger to create that wavy effect or do I have to buy one! Rock On dude!
