Hey folks, thanks for watching my videos! The one I posted yesterday was just 2 117 second long clips of me playing similar riffs using a C Marine Band and then a C 364 Marine Band. Between the clips I put a couple pictures of my kids and I with a bit of slide guitar accompaniment. Jon Morris commented that he really liked the slide playing, so here’s the basics of my journey with slide guitar, which I learned about after a dozen years of it being a true mystery. Ever since I picked up a guitar I have wanted to be a blues player. Not like Eric Clapton or Stevie Ray Vaughan, but like Muddy Waters,,Son House and Robert Johnson and after I learned it I learned about CeDell Davis, RL Burnside, Junior Kimbraugh and all the rediscovered Mississippi hill country players.
