In this lesson we look at how to play the Rolling Stones hit ‘Start Me Up’ released in in 1981 as the lead single for the album Tattoo You.
Like so many Rolling Stones Song’s, within a few seconds of those classic chord played by Keith Richards you know the song.

It also helped when Microsoft paid 3 million dollars to use the music for the launch of windows 95.

To play this song you need to tune the guitar to an open G tuning

E1 D
B2 B
G3 G
D4 D
A5 B
E6 D

When Keith uses this tuning he actually removes the low E string from the guitar.
