Wavelength is a creative music making project for young people aged 12-18 living in Birmingham and Solihull with mental health conditions. We would like to thank our project funders and partners who have made this project possible: BBC Children In Need, Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity, Birmingham Music Education Partnership, Clive and Sylvia Richards Charity, Solihull Music Education Hub and The Grantham Yorke Trust. Without this support, the project wouldn’t be able to run and achieve the impact that it does, so we are hugely grateful for this.

This is an instructional video as part of the Wavelength Seminar 2019/20. This video takes you through why using Drop D guitar tuning can be beneficial to engage young people quickly and how it can then lead to progressing to power chords, open chords and barre chords.
