    Easy answer. I’m not a baby boomer and I’m not longing for any other era. The Stones are visceral. Their music has a hearbeat and it has soul. If it doesn’t hit you, that’s fine. But if you’re making decisions about what to listen to based on your perception of what’s in style, you have bigger problems than not liking the Stones.

    And if people only go to see them out of a sense of nostalgia, then wouldn’t every band from a bygone era be selling out arenas?

    Music doesn’t have an expiration date, loser. Are you going to still listen to Lady Gaga in 30 years or will you toss her aside too because she’s gone "out of style?"

    Um… if The Rolling Stones music went out of fashion 40 years ago, then why are their tours always sold out and music stars in their 20s and 30s writing songs about them…? Wonder if The Black Keys or Lady Ga Ga will be around in 20 years, let alone 50 years…?

    the music of the rolling stones went out of style 40 years ago but at least they try to stay relevant by teaming up with black keys and lady gaga

    but the music of bruce springsteen went out of style 30 years ago so that was a bad choice
