“Which tuning should I use” is the most common question I hear from people starting out in slide guitar.
We’ll look at standard tuning, Open G and Open D tunings (and their variations). I’ll discuss the pros and cons of each, suggest how you might choose one over another, and address the issue of whether it really matters.
