it would be excellent if some one would do this style layout for slide guitar scales

Keep in mind, I’m not outlining scales here, just shapes that ‘contain’ common licks.

i have a question… box 4 and 5 are overlapping but i cant seem to understand why box 5 has different notes which are not the same with box 4… now my question is is this related to some blues lick wherein you use a chromatic note of some sort? help plsssssss

Thanks friend. If you had watched the lesson and read anything about this approach before commenting, you’d know I’m not teaching traditional blues boxes.

Hello my friend. I think your 5th box is wrong, you are playing the relative scale of the pentatonic A chord, it sound very good as all relative scales but talking about Boxes and relatives is a little bit difference! Cheers! =)

What you are watching is not scales. There is some overlap, but make no mistake, it’s a shortcut. If you compare these shapes to scales, you will see differences. If you don’t like this, please move along. Also, I don’t answer questions on YouTube, too many comments. Ask me on my site, or send me an email.
