CORRECTION: I mentioned that nosebleed seats were going for $150. well, I was WRONG! nosebleed seats are actually going for $250! I thought I was angry when …

  1. They’ve never done a retirement tour

  2. Were you in this meeting, you masked freak?

  3. Are all of you Ringo Starr’s fans?! Jo,jo!

  4. money can’t make these old farts sound cool neither…

  5. why would you pay for that lame circus show anyway? laughable. there is nothing exciting about the old farts on the stage OR the songs anymore. they even manage to make great songs sound boring live. listen to the albums or watch "ladies and gentlemen". the stones stopped being rock n’ roll 35 years go…

  6. Indeed. I saw them in ’78 and it cost me $8.50. You are right on the mark about the that tour. Saw them again in ’81 when Jovan was sponsoring them. One of the first corporate sponsorships in rock. If not the first. The show was a bore.

  7. What’s "wrong" about it? They’re taking what the market is willing to pay them. That’s the American way 😉 If you can’t afford it that’s your problem, not theirs. Maybe you can save up for the PPV special. Me, I’ll be in Chicago seeing them for the 6th time (1st w/Mick Taylor, bonus!), because I can and because it’s worth it to me. I’ll be taking 4 kids who love them and haven’t yet seen them… well worth it for a show they’ll never forget. Ooooh Doody you’re a fool to cry….

  8. Seen the stones 4 times.
Money can never enter your mind when it comes to seeing the Stones or CHER.

  9. I can’t even believe the depths of your idiocy. yeah, the ROLLING STONES walked into that meeting with the promoter backwards with their pants around their ankles unaware of how ticket prices and concert grosses worked. they totally figured the nice promoter man wouldn’t charge their fans anything more than a fair price. you’re as dumb as the last guy I replied to. both of you have ROLLING STONE references in your usernames by the way. defend your heroes no matter how WRONG they are, right? lol

  10. you’re right. your logic isn’t FLAWED at all. just because I can’t afford to buy 3 tickets at $600 per for a grand total of $1,800, or 3 tickets at $250 per for $750 must mean I’m on welfare.

    yeah, I’m the dummy.

  11. I thought the shows in 1981 were a lot better than 1978. Keith barely played in 78, and the shows were very short. In 81 they sounded great, the stage was unique and they seemed to be in better health.

  12. Stones fan here, but to be honest the 1978 was theeeee best and last best tour. they were still raw, and rocked with attitude. To pay this amount to see them at this point-is stupid. You are correct sir, their just being way over the top greedy.Yes their legends, and Ive seen them many times, but at this time when their basically a greatest hits act, you gotta be nuts to pay even $200!!!!.

  13. I have to say you are a funny dude. Love the videos keep complaining.

  14. I completely agree. Thanks for the video. They’re my favorite band in the world, but I’m a student and there’s no way I could pay that kinda money to see them. Or would even want to pay that much. It’s simply ridiculous and a shame, really. I’d rather pay like 20 bucks on shows by bands i can enjoy with my friends and actually get to hang with and support them like that. I’d get more out of 20 shows like that than i would from a single times gig at this point. And especially in this economy. Sad

  15. thanks for the help. but, I’m not going to go even if I managed to pull off $85 tickets.

I wouldn’t be able to enjoy myself knowing the majority of people watching, listening, dancing around me got ripped off to the tune of $600 per ticket.

it’s not right. sure, they paid the money so they obviously don’t care. but, I do. so, I’m out.

I’ll still listen at home, but that’s about it. sad.

  16. I feel ya man…I pulled $85 tickets tonight for shows in Anaheim. If you really want to go ya keep tryin. I saved the links to that page, only way to even try and get em. What show are you looking to go to?

  21. They never retired unlike all those other bands that had to say that just to sell tickets and then have a series of reunion tours
