  1. sir, your tutorial is great and you should feel great.

  2. can’t thank you enough for the time and energy you put into sharing with us — thank you… been blessed by it

  3. @thetrolltobe Stefan Grossman has a book out on Blind Blake that comes with a cd of his music as well. It’s extremely resourceful and contains tablature to this song and 15 others! I’ve benefited greatly from it. Woody Mann also has out a DVD on Blind Blake for intermediate players and although I’ve never seen it I hear it’s good too. Hope this helps 🙂

  4. This is excellent. I’ve been getting into a lot of music from this period through my wife, and I’m a decent country picker in the Merle Haggard/Honky Tonk style, and would love to learn these rythms and melodies. Thanks!

  5. Just a guess, are you from Liverpool? I’m guessing from your voice 😉

  6. This is great! I can’t wait to get started on it. This is the best instruciton I have ever seen on any style of playing – rock, jazz, blues, heavy metal, etc… Thanks so much.

  7. if you haven’t figured that out by now: it’s standard tuning with a capo on the 2nd fret 🙂

  8. can you get the tabs in any way other then viewing them on this movie

  9. Truly excellent guitar instruction. I like the tab on the screen. Thanks.

  10. Pretty good but you might want to listen to Ari Eisinger for the fine points and trickier bits.

  11. so helpful, blakes style is taking me forever, a lot of it due to not having resources like this, thanks. one thing tho, i was told not to touch the guitar body with my right hand fingers. now i’ve managed it i get far less aches and pains from playing.

Not often that I get such a positive gesture. Thanks! Remember the old saying… It takes one to know one.
