I shot this film almost 3 years ago! Keni Lee Burgess, who has loads of guitar tutorials here on youtube, allowed me to follow him around the streets and subways of Manhattan to document his lifestyle, that being a busker. I was so incredibly lucky that I was able to make contact with the son of the inventor of the resonator guitar John E Dopyera. Although the film was super fun to make, the end result from a film makers stand point is that I wasnt happy with the video quality. I shot on a miniDV camera, wish I had an HD at that time but couldnt afford one. Please enjoy the film. Feel free to leave feed back. Please visit kenilee burgess here on youtube. 1. What moved me the most in this film was how Keni was able to play a guitar for Dopyera Jr. made by Dopyera’s father. I mean basically 2 generations were bridged together in that room at that moment by a guitar and a song. What a wonderful moment for me and for Keni and Bill as well. So many other feelings I just don’t know how to convey.

  2. I just reposted…every musician needs to see this…especially the blues people

  7. Thank you so much man. I love music and love to sing and loved making this film. Keni is a wonderful guy and has a wealth of knowledge. Thank you so very much for looking at the film and for your moral support, means so much to me.

  8. Awesome George. In my opinion, the video quality matches the subject matter. The blues is all about gritty, down to earth feelings and expressing those feelings with music. I think a slick, super HD format would take something away from it.
