Marty as you can probably tell by checking, but i subscribe to like maybe 6 or 7 guitar instructional links and i can honestly say, there is no point for me to do that anymore, u are simply the best!!!! thank you for this lesson!!!!
Brendan, he uses a loop pedal, it records what you play.
Raise the 3 & drop the7?
So whats the dif between thw melodic minor and the harmonic minor? The 3 & 7?
Does anybody know what he uses to record himself playing the backing track? I’m new so I have no idea. Is it a pedal or something?
Thanks Marty, this is going to help me in my Jazz Band solo’s
Your videos are awesome, Marty.
Oh.. Melodic Minor. We meet again.
I like very good to much yes for my blues, tanhk you Marty
Love this advanced lesson on melodic minor, please do more of this type of lesson 🙂
So Marty, what you call here the "lydian dominant" scale is the same others call the Overtone scale right?
These question videos are very helpful, please do more!
This sounds great. This is the kind of stuff im trying to do, only using only major/minor pentatonics. Im having more trouble incorporating the rhythm playing using 6th/9th/13th chords and the changes than I am the scales.
I’d like it if you do some rock/metal lessons again
Hey Marty. My question is about getting to know the neck of the guitar.
What I mean is know how how to connect chords/ knowing what sound will sound good with the next.
I mess around with chords and bar chords to make my own melodies but I want to be able to go beyond chords (bluesy kinda stuff)
How do I develop the ear or intuition to know my guitar well
Awesome lesson Marty !!! i was wondering if you could post a lesson on the solo to Planet Caravan by Black Sabbath
Your Lessons are the best on YouTube ( :
Marty, you should do a guitar give away. Who agrees?
I freaking LOVE this lesson. Thanks Marty! I’m now better than Slash, only not really.
