It’s been a while since I posted a qin tune so here goes.
Wonlong Yin is a beautiful melody and although it has already been posted on YouTube I decided to learn and record it. My version is slightly slower that the one on YouTube.

I also got a lot of instruction materials from that site. Gong Yi’s book and dvd set are the best to start with – they use standard notation along with chinese tablature. If you have guitar, and especially fingerpicking, skills this instrument is fun and not that hard to learn (for simple and medium advanced pieces – advanced pieces will take endless practice)
