Cindy Cashdollar, five time Grammy Award winning dobro and slide steel guitar player, talking about how she came by and demonstrating the sound of her one piece Koa wood, 1927 Hermann Weissenborn slide guitar at Ray Bensons Bismeaux Recording Studio in Austin, TX on May 5th, 2010, where Cindy has recorded many times with Asleep At The Wheel, and where she chose to do an oral history interview and acoustic performance for MusicBox Projects film documentary in the works on "Americana Women: Roots Musicians – Womens Tales and Tunes."
What a magical sound, now my heart is aching.
Very moving story, but I didn’t tear up ’till Cindy started playing. I play slide, both acoustic and electric so my tear ducts don’t lie. Beautiful.

The story of how you acquired this killed me , a few tears for sure .
Lost my brother from the same disease 18 years ago .
You have a Great Heart & Soul. I’m sure the elderly parents are smiling
when they hear this instrument in your very capable hands .
Glad you owe it versus a collector .
