Hey Guys Marty Schwartz here again with my new venture “MartyMusic!” In this lesson I show a few country/blues style licks that work great when you’re trying to get a bit of a sweeter sound. You hear this in country but also bands like The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many more. Basically it’s the Major Pentatonic Scale with the blues note, sometimes referred to as the “Country Scale” or “Major Blues” scale. No matter what you call it, it’s quite sassy!!!
