DUST is a PS3-exclusive triple-A free-to-play MMOFPS (massively multiplayer online first person shooter), directly set in and connected in real time with the science fiction universe of EVE Online. We are now ready to open the game up to a wider audience by moving to an Open Beta. There will be no more character wipes or inventory resets. We will lift all access restrictions to our servers. Anyone with a PS3 and a PSN account can download the game, create a character and join in on the fun. We will be updating the game regularly, soliciting feedback from you on our forums, balancing and tuning, replacing and polishing.

go play the beta. its nothing like halo. its actually like no other game out there. brand new concept. brand new style of play. there is no other game out there like this. saying this is a halo clone is like calling need for speed a halo clone.

Also, here’s a tip to all those new Dust players who are JUST starting to get into beta: Fight within your squad rather than lone wolfing it 24/7 because If you don’t, you’re gonna get gunned down rather easily.

DUST 514 beta is a true beta.
Been playing other beta for consoles.
Is not like Battlefield 3 beta or other kind of games which took only a couple of months to be available for players and then released without any other major differences and changes, almost like demo of the final release with limited content, such as Medal of Honor or BF3 beta and others games.
