  1. The diagrams are designed to represent what you see when you look at YOUR guitars neck. Its industry standard way of doing neck diagrams. A

  2. You can find details about my guitar and all the other gear I use in the description where it says "Details on the gear I use". Cheers, A

  8. great video and lesson. the only thing is you have the notes and strings backwards. the 1’s and 2’s should be on strings a d and g, not b g and e. great video none the less

  9. Learn to be patient I just got a guitar last weekend and I surprised myself being able to play this scale and the easier one he mentions the Em pentatonic pretty good almost got the G major scale down

I’m no expert on musicology but as far as I know, it’s basically a pre made rule of how to play for something, it’s like a key for a specific feeling in a type of music.

What I know for sure is that it’s used to play solos and to write music.
You can go outside the scales and you should every now and then when making a song but you have to be careful because it was carefully designed to have all the notes you should use.

  11. @Luisshamansblues
Why? It’s one of the most important scales you can learn.

  12. o have a question, what is it for? im newbie and im playing from tabs, does it help with solos or something?

  13. Great lesson Andy. Now if you can also show how to combine the other scales together, that would be nice. Thanks and have a good Christmas.
