This lesson is more aimed at beginning blues guitar players and is the classic “Blues In E” 12 bar blues patter, but with a couple of common variations as well.

When you play in a situation where there is another guitar player, the “Blues In E” is inevitably called. One guitar player plays the rhythm, while one takes a solo, and you trade off every chorus or 2 usually.

As you can imagine, playing the same thing over and over gets a little old, so with the variations here you can create a lot of variety and keep your slow blues in E sounding fresh every time you go around.
