turned out i have a really bad amp its a yamaha peevey amp no reverb just gain and clean 🙂

when i first started i had the same problem but when i got a good quality amp i was able to get better sounds like this and im pretty sure he is using an overdrive pedal aswellto get that heavy sound. good luck with the guitar and keep practicing.

Take it from someone who’s been there, Me and my older brother play. he started a year before me, I was always Bashed on by him and his friends, telling me i suck, I thank them now because it pushed me to get better. 8 years later and my brother doesn’t play anymore, i’m in two bands and he’s asking me for help learning songs. So when someone tells you that you suck, remember that when your practicing and think about the day you get to throw it in they’re face!
