So after several reedits part 2 of the guide is finally here and I hope it helps many of you on your road to improving lap times. As ever cut Kieran a little slack as this is his first ever video, but like Ross hes a massive racing fan and easily one of the top Forza player out there, so its worth listening to his rambles as he works this this more complex chapter of tuning. I hope you enjoy it and part 3 should be with us in a couple of weeks time. Please subscribe and Like www.facebook.com and follow me at www.twitter.com

  1. hey another helpful video! what do you mean by the PI? So if the car has to much over steer(drifty) would i have to reduce the caster? and im not really going to do much with the toe.

  2. Yes toe out points the front of the front tires out, and the backs of the front tires in. Like this
    /

More Caster moves the wheel forward in the front wheel opening. It also increases negative camber the more the wheels are turned (a good thing)

At least in real life. Not sure in the game. I’m going to go buy it and find out.

  3. can all of this tuning u did be applied equaly to all other cars

  4. So….a ‘toe out’ points the front of the tires outward, and a high caster setting pushes the front wheels closer to the front bumper?

  5. do all tuners use the same formula for camber? increase .1 on the front and .2 on the rear?

  6. Hey guys for custom work (tunes, builds, vinyls, paint etc.) add my gamertag- Schmutz1g
    Club International Design
    Filth Customs

  7. Black ops is doing Cod Cast why cant forza do somethings similar I also think they should make the game M rated because they give us the tools to make allegedly inappropriate or copyrighted graphics yet expect us not to paint them. Talk about giving us enough rope to hang ourselves with and then kicking the stool out from under our legs.

  8. is there any way to save a replay on an empty track with three laps? im finding hard to get the data required to make the changes.

  9. How are you able to get an accurate lap time on the track by yourself on a stand still? I try in test trive but there isnt a "3 2 1 GO" . the time just ticks away without any warning. So im not getting an accurate time from a stand still.

  10. you guys should send this to turn 10 studio,it would be great if they integrate this idea into there new installment

  11. To guitarinformer, in another lesson they mention that replays don’t play the shifting sound correctly, so it just sounds like he is bouncing off the rev limiter.

  12. been making a gti using this as a base and going off as needed. im interested to see which ends up better

  13. You can’t, that was just edited to show the changes being made.

  14. Veni, Vidi, Vice- I Came, I Saw, I Conquered

You’re the first Youtube user that uses the Latin phrase in his username, amazing 😀

  15. nice tutorial! very in detail, my only advice to you is work on consistency in your driving, keeping lines consistent, and your times will suffer, but you can learn to go FASTER around the track, and you will end up with faster lap times that are consistent than when you’re non consistent, and try not to bounce off the rev limiter, find the rev limits and shift then, use the telemetry for that, and try to "get an ear" for it, aka the ability to "hear" when to shift buy using your auditory sense.

  16. While you were tuning you got a time of 1 minute 4.313 seconds!
