notice he stays behind the beat in that american blues swing style. if you do this stuff without the proper swing in it and stay behind the beat it never works
What? Is blues rock not a type of blues?
god you’re thick. Blues Rock is a genre….Blues is another Genre….This poster stated that SRV is the best BLUES ROCK guitarist NOT the best Blues guitarist. You don’t play do you?
Exactly. Blues is included under the category Blues/Rock.
I love Redbone!
Exactly. NOT Blues/Rock
yea… Blues/rock guitarist knobhead. sorry never saw robert johnson play blues/rock in my life or Howlin wolf. get your genres straight
I’ve been listening to SRV for years. I haven’t heard him hit a "bum note"

thumbs up!
thumbs up!
beck whooooo srv!!!!!!!
Blues FTW!
Jimmi Hendrix?
yes <Baby!"
Stevie is great and it would have been more electric if he had invited steve winwood to play organ as he did on Jimi’s voodoo chile live in the studio on Electric Ladyland LP 1968! hendrix and winwood’s jam is legendary! I saw the Fire meets the Fury tour w/ stevie ray and jeff beck in1989 and stevie opened with Jeffs boogie explainig that that was the 1st song he ever learned on guitar note for note!
SRV is better than Hendrix in my opinion. I really like them both but I just like SRV’s style more.
you have one very well point but i was simply stating on my list of greatest guitar players he does not exist i will admit hes impressive and hey we all have our opinion i mean in my opinion the greatest is Jimmy Page but yeah i mean to each there own bro and I know the guys name lol but yeah as i said not really my greatest guitarist ha
