    Hey Marty, you should do something to the effect of making a new channel in which you give all of us a new lick every day or week or so. I’m one of those intermediate players who is comfortable with going up and down the scales and such, but I have no licks to spice them. Or rather, not enough.

    Heey buddy i know your message is intended for marty to answer but i could help you out, quite a while ago i was in the exact same position as you, i was constanly playing the same lick over and over again, what i would advice is, watch more of marty’s videos on soloing, and pay specific attention to what he’s doing and see if you can learn anything from that, also just experiment with the scale and see if you can find anything tasty you really like, maybe that helped?

    hey marty, like u said im in a rut and all i do is the same riff and at one point it sounded cool, now it just pisses me off, this video taught me alot and i appreciate it, but i was wondering if u have any theory videos? i wanna be the best guitar player i can be and i want more depth in this instrument, thanks!
