The Asylum Street Spankers, Guy Forsythe took this song to a whole new level. Check that out and see what ya say. (All due respect to Slowhand)

If I had possesion…
looking far as my eyes can see…
…walked away…
sit on my knees…treated me!!!!
This is Robert Johnson’s version of "Rollin’ and Tumblin’", it didn’t get issued till the 1960s and the delta blues revival. By then Muddy Waters had already established "Rollin’ and Tumblin’" as a Chicago blues standard.
Great version as usual from Mr Johnson.
Sure Nuff and Yes I dooo haha 🙂
This is my Fav. of his.
Awesome!!
eric clapton upgraded this song, but, mr johnson rulez
Amen to that.
One Person Didn’t Have Possession Over Judgment Day.
Love your comment. I always like a dry sense of humor. Give Rory Block a listen on this song also. She keeps it primitive, more like Mr. Johnson.
If I had a possesionover this blues away…………..
the baddest man on the planet in his day
I’d subscribe, but YT won’tlet me – if you’re interested, the story’s on my channel page (which I can’t change)…
"wanna tell ya all about the way that they treated me"
