Visit www.JimmyDillon.com Im working off of a few classics here. One is "Prodigal Son" by Reverend Robert Wilkins (also covered by the Rolling Stones on Beggars Banquet). Ive always dug this style and Im doing a few different inversions, which I get into in detail on both "Soul of Acoustic Guitar" and "Acoustic Enlightenment" DVDs. Later I pick up the tempo with a move much like "Im So Glad" by blues great Skip James (1931), later covered by Eric Clapton and Cream. The thing I love about open E and open D is the voicing you can discover seem endless! Ill get into some cool alternate chords in later lessons, so stay tuned.
