Gostnotes= <3
is that a JM signature strat?
you need a gibson es 335:D
i couldn’t help but smile when u added john’s ghost note 🙂 thanks for the help man
Just saw a couple of your videos. Very concise and well explained. Keep it up.
You are tuned down one half step……..
sounds perfectly logical bro…thanks 🙂
compared to these days with you tube & lick library & just the internet in general,….. I wish that these options were around back then!! Anyway you play real nice man! and although I know those licks you were teaching quite well I thought your accenting of that last ghost note was real smooth & subtle, is that a John Mayer strat your playing? I now own that ’62 strat my Father left me along with a real ’65 twin reverb and I just bought a Supersonic 60 that I’m LOVING! Keep up the great work!
I started Playing my fathers ’62 Strat in 1987 when I was 12 yrs old,…. I played mostly Blues,… Lots of Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray, Freddie King, Albert King etc,….I haven’t played in a band since 2005 but I still do a lot of studio session work and production & I still play for hours & hours a day! Anyway like you Ive been up all night working on some new licks & I was just thinking in utter amazment how different it was for guys in my era having to figure it all out on our own,..
these are the kind of lessons that actualy help people get better, and figure out ways to express themselves.
well done man , it’s great
It has a note from the major pentatonic. So it gets a happier sound.
Sorry, I’m a noob but isn’t the 3rd shape a lil different from the standard pentatonic scale? I’m talking about the G note. Is that lick particular to just a certain chord of the scale?
let me ask you something….you are an amazing guitar player bro but how and what did you do to get at the level that you play at bro?
Good lesson man! Ive been playing for a bit now and figured this out not too long ago. Good to see someone else so excited to play blues!
your feel is really great, awesome tips man. you’re great, especially for just being some guy dealing out a technique video on youtube,
great job buddy, what guitar are you using?
