Howdy! I’ve recently built a TV/Guitar I call the "Guitelevision" and would love some guitarist’s feedback. My demo video is called "Guitelevision" – /watch?v=2BwKTsJ0Td0 (First up if you search it) Many thanks!
Please make a video on how to play Johnny guitar by Peggy lee from fallout new vegas I must master this song¡!!!
How on Earth do you smack the A string over and over again? I keep hitting like three strings at once when I try to do that!
It is usually best to use the tonal note (root note A) as the base of the chord. But because the the E note is part of the A chord (a crucial part called the 5th/dominant note), it can be the starting base.
What to do? Try it and see how it sounds on *this song*. Why? Because it may vary from one song to another whether to use a 5th note as the base of a chord, for example, depending on the melody. (Say the melody note at that point was a higher E — that would make an E base sound good!)
Key is G. Hold down G chord to get started. Play D string repeatedly: da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-E-G (pause) da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da-E-F#-G! (da = D)
Switch to C chord: Repeat same pattern on G string (but remember that G string at 4th fret is equal to B note — so last three notes of sequence are A-B-C.
Those are the first two lines, learned "by ear" (I never learned the rest of it). But that should get you started. Check Google or Youtube for someone showing you more details.
Whenever something sounds bad on the guitar, slow down until it sounds right.
Play each string individually, starting on the A string and ending on the high E (the sting nearest the floor). If any given string is not clear, stop and see what the problem is. Usually you are either 1) not pressing the fret down hard enough or close enough to the fret (toward the sound hole side of the guitar), or, 2) a neighboring finger is blocking a clear sound. Fix each string this way. Only then speed up.
love the end part
my B7 sounds horrible
Your fingers develop calluses which make your fingers hurt a lot less.
Dammit Marty Swartz!! Why do you have to be so good!!!!

Your fingers hurt after a while of playing. Do your tips just get harder so the metal strings dont dig into your fingers? (dumb question yeah but dude I aint sure haha
