Bill Broonzy had a certain power to his playing. His guitar work is precise and pulsating. He made the instrument work for him and respond to his every move. Eric Clapton’s modern interpretation of this style attempts to capture the essence of this old way of playing.

Using the 8 bar blues form, this is a great one to have in your setlist. It also has an awesome pickup/turnaround lick in the key of A and a great blues lick over the E7 chord.
