  1. That would be the notes in a minor 7 chord… except 4. No idea what that is doing there.

  2. .could anyOne help me — i know the fret board note names but wat’s the 1.b3.4.5.b7 mean? .pls SOMEone tell me

  3. Ok you win. My teaching style AND next level guitar’s is completely wrong. Happy?

  4. You can’t tell me that being productive wont lead to artistic benefit. Both those words musically come hand and hand so you can’t really say one is more important than the other.

  5. With all millions of people that play guitar there is no way to dictate which way is ‘easier’ that is individual to each guitarist. What can be determined is which is easier theoretically. Actually with this exact scale it can either belong to either G Major or C Major so if you put it in perspective of E Phyrgian then this would both combine your biased opinion with mine. Yet if you think about it in G major then you only think about it being easier, which isn’t too productive.

  6. Mabye C major is more basic theory wise but not easier to play on an acoustic guitar

  7. Really liked the pull off work out exercise, will try and keep up the practice on this.

  8. Very good lesson David, Thank you, I love these, because I’m a bigginer, and these are easy, but make you sound like you know how to play really… 😀 By the way, I’m totally in love with you…. but you know that, right? 🙂

  9. But what you said is you should start off with the basics and work your way up. Just because it’s easier for you doesn’t mean that its more basic. Take your own advice and start with the basics like C major, what is more basic that the scale to "do re me fa so la te do". Defiantly not E minor pentatonic.

  10. LONG LIVE DAVID THE STORMBINGER KILLING GUITARST WUT SUPER TAYLOR KILLING GUITAR WITH SUPERQUADCORE STRIGZ AND DEADLY SOUND THAT IS.. ok we get it…. xD
KIDDING ! SUPERB FOR THIS , IT HELPED.

  11. except on acoustic the E minor is much easier to learn on due to the open strings
