  3. really enjoyed this lesson. I love seeing new chords and progressions to play around with and inspire.

  4. This is actually the chord progression of "High And Dry" from RH…

  5. I wanted to be one of the 1st to comment on your video. Keep doing what your doing and posting good videos. YT is a great place for video responses. Check out my music when you have a minute – FB. com/JesseRoussellMusic

  6. He uses Emajor pentatonic which is the same as the C#minor pentatonic. It’s the same tones. The second box (as I learned them) in the minor pentatonic is the first in major pentatonic.

  7. Lol bust this out at the music store, to look cool, " Yeah Can i help you sir ? " hahaha this guy is great

  8. major pentatonic scales have the same notes as the minor ones. it’s all about context. so it looks like c# minor and it would be if we were playing in C#. but since were in E it’s being used as E major. a quick trick I use is where ever your first finger is (in this case 9 on the low E string, C#) that’s the key it is in minor. what ever string your 4th finger is on (12th fret low E string E) is the major scale for that note.

let me know if that makes sense.

  9. relative major/minor, the aminor pentatonic and the c major for example (VI/I) have the same patterns, but i havent seen the video, so i dont know if this is the case

  10. The tab around 6:30 is for the minor pentatonic scale when says that we can use it with major pentatonic.

  11. Heelll Yeah My Favourite Band inspired lesson !!! Thanks!)
