    I cant count in my head and play at the same time too well. I have pretty bad dyslexia and ADD so that may be part of it. In a band I hear the changes with singing and how other musicians drive or lay back in the changes. Jam tracks sometimes work but in general I have no idea where im at in a song.

    Hmmm. I hate to say this but… Count the bars in your head until it is so entrenched that you can’t NOT hear it and FEEL it. It is a matter of hearing it and feeling it.
