My arrangement of RLBurnsides Poor Black Maddie. This, the second of three tunes done with David in January of 2013. Im playing bottleneck slide on my National El Trovador in open G tuning, using AlaskaPik plastic fingerpicks. Davids on loan from his firm in London. I sure enjoy playing with him…..guess it shows. We recorded this using a zi8, three iphones, and the zoom h4n (man, what a thing that thing is!) Were playing out on the patio of Blind Lemons on Lake Atitlan, San Marcos LL,Guatemala. Thanks to Eric Mencher for pushing me to work out this arrangement!
