I saw a documentary at netflix on him and he really wasn’t promoted much in the USA plus he wouldn’t make any singles to get on the air and that didn’t help either. With that said, I found his story very inspirational and I don’t inspire easily. They also had a concert at netflix he did not long before his death that was awesome too. A great talent who never got too full of himself.

Played in France in 1980. It’s the same concert as "off the handle" is played 😀

I saw him once in Rotterdam, 1973, experience of a lifetime. He played until we could take the first train home on Sunday morning, because we were not allowed to drive a car on Sunday due to the oilcrisis. No need to tell you the train was full of Rory fans, singing his songs out loud, sharing drinks and food, so the party just went on for hours. We had to travel 150 km, one of the nicest travels ever.

Every now and than I return here just to listen to this great version and to see the joy Rory’s music gives the audience. Always a treat, specially on a Sunday morning when it is snowing (like now)
