Here is a little montage of us building an electric lap steel guitar on a little farm on the South Coast. Plus some footage of the local wildlife (including flies). The timbers used are Sheoak (Casuarina obesa) for the fretboard and scratch plate, Blackbutt (Eucalyptus patens) for the body. The guitar has been finished with a French Polish.
What a great sound!! I really like how it looks at the end product. Perfect for traveling too.
this is awesome, I love it 🙂
