Andy nails it 100{10faa3092bae83cdf963b1ab1025701434ba1e012413cb9c0c72be0a479389c3} of the time, every time.
It is in the K of A. Notice the chord he always resolves to
Zvex Fuzz Factory will do the trick or just lots of gain and a boost will get that muddy sound
thank you, nice lesson!
i have a Germanium Big Muff it handles it quite well 🙂
so perfect wow!
hey, can somebody please tell me in which key this song is? thanks!.
get a superfuzz
i knew about them before the knew about themselves
It’s not a big deal now. El Camino was pretty bad.
This.
Great lesson, thanks!
The Jam Pedals Red Muck is the best clones of a russian muff I have heard
Unless you’re a serious gear geek — nothing wrong with being one, of course — the difference in tone between an American Big Muff and a Russian Big Muff is probably going to strike you as pretty minor.
Aside from the playing itself, playing through a good amp is probably the most important part of the tone in the video, followed by the nice guitar, followed by the particular fuzz pedal used.
fantastic Andy, any chance of something from "Magic Potion" such as Goodbye Babylon, thats a great track and could be a good way to move some trem pedals or similar. Also the tone on "Modern Times" is a crunch tone I cant even begin to imagine what kind of pedal would produce it. Would be grateful for some insight or tips. Thanks again.
what’s the big fuzz about knowing about them before or after they were popular?
This is a great song. I’ve know about the black keys way before the were popular from one of my parents friends. Glad you got me into this song, I love it!
tell me too please!!!!!
You never write guitar modell used in your videos ! And that is tthe most important thing to us : )
Thank you so much.
These lessons wouldn’t have worked for me like a year ago, but since I’ve evolved I can say that the timeline of these lessons are just perfect!
Quick and efficient – no wasting time on little details that an intermediate player already knows.
Thanks PGS! 🙂
Thanks Andy! Love The BKs for their fuzzy riff based songs. This is perfect!
care to share what cheaper pedals will get this sound? I’ve tried using OD + regular muff and it’s still not quite there
Andy and Rebecca Dirks should be Youtube’s prom king and queen…
