Charlie Watts of The Rolling Stones and childhood friend and noted Jazz bass player Dave Green have put together the ABC&D of Boogie Woogie with Axel Zwingenberger on piano and Ben Waters on piano and vocals and they talk about their 2012 June release Live In Paris, music they listened to growing up, The Rolling Stones 50th Anniversary plans for 2012, ABC&Ds plans for the future and the supposed rivalry between The Stones and The Beatles.

  1. Is it just me, or had Charlie looked at least ten years older than he really is, no matter what age he is? Like, I remember seeing a band picture of him with the Stones when he was in his early 20s and I swear I thought he looked like he was in his early 30s. But, then again, maybe it’s just me.
