Well, if The Rolling Stones can release their first new original track in eight years, I can certainly do a cover of one of my favourite songs of theirs. And NO, it doesn’t mean I am launching into a Des Does Exile On Main Street. Apart from anything else, didn’t Liz Phair purportedly already do that, after a fashion, with Exile in Guyville?

Vocals are a bit dodgy, i.e. flat. But I can’t double track myself in a YouTube video, and besides, it’s not like I have all day to do endless takes.
