This is a new song "Crackles". I hadnt finished the mix on this recording but here you can listen to the bass track. I use an open CGGC tuning for this one. The top two strings are replaced bij a G and C string. Sound is not great (and the bass is too loud in the mix) because I use the mic on the webcam. Hope you enjoy! www.myspace.combarendtromp you can listen and download the mixed version here for free: soundcloud.com

  1. Do you leave this Wal in this tuning? If so, truss rod need adjusting?

  2. It has been finished. Check out the soundcloud link in the description.

  3. This is fantastic, the driving rhythm and melody is really great. Please finish it!

  4. Nice, I like the use of drone notes and the tension. Responding to an earlier comment, it might be interesting to cover pieces played on pipa. What software do you use to write your music?

  5. Hi , Do you still have the UD stomp and is it for sale by any chance ? Let me know please and Thank you .

  6. :I really like Guqin music but I don’t agree that Mick Karn is ripping it off. He has an unique style and is influenced by eastern music just as I am but he is not ripping it off.
There is so much more to it then only the eastern influences.
