  2. I started playing in 1985, so George Thorogood was actually my first slide-guitar influence, as strange as it may seem. But he was a perfect influence to start with because he’s not that technical of a player – It was easy for me to learn his stuff, and it was a good stepping-stone to the harder stuff from guys like Haynes, David Lindley, Joe Walsh, and Sonny Landreth.

    By the way, it sounds like the cops are coming for him. You can hear it towards the end. Better hide the weed, dude.

    I`m sorry Big Guy, but i just dont think you can make a guitar do such a thing !

  5. you can still mute the strings with a pick. i do it. i use my palm to mute the low strings and my extra fingers to mute the high strings. i do use my fingers sometimes. usually for softer songs.
