Thank you very much my friend. Yeah, the law suit never even made it to court. It’s the most misunderstood story in guitar history probably. lol They were simply suing over the headstock design, nothing more. With the logo being inlaid so deep into the wood back in those days, it would’ve been really hard to have to strip the clear coats, fill in the wood, make a mother of pearl Gibson logo, route out the headstock just right and put the new one in and refinish it.

Yes, 100{10faa3092bae83cdf963b1ab1025701434ba1e012413cb9c0c72be0a479389c3}. Just a different logo on the headstock. They could pick any guitar off of the lot and simply put whichever name on it that they wanted. They had a few different names like that.

Mine too. I couldn’t believe it when a friend of mine called to let me know that he had it for sale. I’ve owned several of the Ibanez and Starfield (same thing) 2402 6/12 string double necks over the years, but this is the one I always wanted. FINALLY!
