Are you an acoustic guitarist? If so this video could change your life. I spent an afternoon with the legend that is @MartinSimpsonOfficial this week. We recorded a podcast interview which will soon be launched by Fretboard Journal and in a quiet moment Martin started to play.

I grabbed my camera and turned the mics around and this is the result. Every acoustic guitarist should hear this. It’s ethereal and beautiful and utterly mind blowing. haunted, swooping overtones, otherworldly textures – just incredible.

I felt privileged to be in the same room that day and I’m very grateful to Martin for this moment.
