Martin D-16 GT demo, My own lil review of the superb martin d16 gt acoustic guitar, perfect for eric clapton robert johnson blues and fingerpickin styles.The martin d16 gt is excellent value for a quality guitar that rocks and plays extremely well with a slim (fast) neck. The guitar strings were buzzing a little as id de-tuned it a whole step, but that was my doing, not the guitars fault, all in all a great guitar and i love playing it. Good electrical became a little and began to search the acoustics, I realized that to me in spirit style sound Martin. Quite difficult to find records where people are the really play guitar, THANKS for the review, exactly your writing helped me!

Hi there, No pick up on this guitar, but you can easily fit one and Fishman are a good pick up, hope its of help
Another question… Can you plug it into an amp? Does it have a jack?

hi buddy, many thanks for your kind comment and your question, Martin are bringing out quite a few lower cost versions at present that are perfect for that martin tone but at a much more reasonable cost, ive just got another martin, an 000M which is also excellent, so check that one out too, but the D16 gt really does have a great tone, best to try as many out as you can in the shop & let your ears and feel tell you whats right for you, you’ll soon know, keep me posted on how you get on buddy

Hey many thanks for your kind comment buddy, i’m pleased it was of help to you, yes mainly price, I had tried 20 acoustic guitars that day ( 3 hours ! ) all quality, taylor, collins, gibson and martins, and even if id purchased the gibson J45, i would still have walked away feeling, have i made the right choice ! In fact i actually walked away without any guitar, but the D16gt had made such an impression on me that i phoned the shop the following day and asked them to send me it & its been great
