Blues Guitar Lesson at bluesguitarunleashed.com if youd like to get the TAB and downloadable versions of the videos. This wont make a lot of sense without the first part. So you should watch that first at youtu.be before diving in. This is one of many free blues guitar lessons I offer here on YouTube and through my email newsletter. If you like it, I would encourage to sign up as its free and we have a lot of fun. This lesson is based around the concept that soloing doesnt have to be hard to sound good. A lot of people think they need to practice a ton of scales and learn a bunch of theory – but blues music really doesnt work that way. Ive played just about every style of guitar over the years but I keep coming back to the blues and Im sure theres a reason for that. Its wonderful in its simplicity but as BB King has said, "Its the easiest to learn and the hardest to master." There is always a bit more to learn it seems. youtu.be

  7. Fantastic, thanks for sharing. It was very motivational! Big THUMPS UP!!!!

  8. I’ve seen only one person playing that good using this minimalistic approach ( which is hard as hell btw ) and it was 10 years ago jamming with Javier Batiz (Santana’s teacher) I was lucky enough to get his attention and his advise …Too many notes he said, you can achieve more with less ( his exact words) If you can thrill the audience with 4 or 5 notes anything that comes after that is a plus…. Wise words, now i found you….wise and soulful playing.. my deepest respect ! Happy me 🙂

  9. when we look down our guitars firs string is the thinest one, in these videos the first string is the thick one, its just a suggestion but i think its a good one and me and my jam buddies all agreed so i just wanted to put it out there

  10. some of use are having trouble looking at the way u position the camera in front of the guitar. and we really think it would be easier for us beginners to process the visual if the camera was positioned as if it was looking down on the guitar the way you would if u were playing, we think it wold be easier for us to see the exact strings you are playing and hammering and bending.

by saying this im only trying to help my fellow guitar players, because when i first started this was a big thing.

  11. I was really excited to get to the breakdown video, and finally learn a cool lick, but until I have the gear to slow down the video, it won’t do me any good. I wish that really good players would figure out they have got to slow it down more. I got tired of rewinding a hundred times and still not getting it all.

  12. Love the idea of this. Great for REAL blues players!!

  13. Hi! My teacher;sorry last week i was not there.Because my Dad died;i really appreciate it. Like i tell you i am very crazy the way you play. Can i become a guitarist like you?Thank you so much;than God bless you;and protect you for ever.

  14. Great breakdown. Unlike some I have seen you have a clear, easy to understand teaching method. I also have your Beginning Blues Guitar and Blues Guitar Unleashed videos and they are helpful and make practice more fun and less of an exercise. Keep it up Griff, John Hopkins.
