Bob Dylan – Like A Rolling Stone Lyrics: Once upon a time you dressed so fine, Threw the bums a dime in your prime, didnt you ? Peopled call, say, "Beware doll, youre bound to fall," You thought they were all akiddin you. You used to laugh about Everybody that was hangin out. Now you dont talk so loud, Now you dont seem so proud, About having to be scrounging your next meal. How does it feel ? How does it feel ? To be without a home ? Like a complete unknown ? Like a rolling stone ? Aw, youve gone to the finest school all right, Miss Lonely, But you know you only used to get "juiced" in it. Nobodys ever taught you how to live out on the street, And now youre gonna have to get used to it. You say you never compromise With a mystery tramp, but now you realize Hes not selling any alibis As you stare into the vacuum of his eyes And say, "Do you want to make a deal? How does it feel ? How does it feel ? To be on your own ? With no direction home ? A complete unknown ? Like a rolling stone ? Aw, you never turned around to see the frowns On the jugglers and the clowns When they all did tricks for you. You never understood that it aint no good, You shouldnt let other people get your kicks for you. You used to ride on a chrome horse with your diplomat Who carried on his shoulder a Siamese cat. Aint it hard when you discover that He really wasnt where its at After he took from you everything he could steal ? How does it feel ? How does it feel ? To have ya on your <b>…<b>

  1. Who in heaven’s name could knock this song by this man? it’s one of the absolute great creative musical works of the 20Th Century. Anyone from this generation would tell you, it not only is a beautiful song but it captures a feeling..a mood from that time and brings it to you. It’s absolute genius!

How many times years ago I’d be somewhere and music would be playing in the background and when this would play, people would stop what they were doing…grow quiet and listen

  7. This tune was written 100{10faa3092bae83cdf963b1ab1025701434ba1e012413cb9c0c72be0a479389c3} by Bob Dylan. Only Dylan can say if it is in or out of tune. The recording of The Beatles Strawberry Fields is actually 2 performances in 2 different keys meshed into 1. Its anybody’s guess as to whether it is in tune or not. Unfortunately Lennon is not around to tell if it is or out of tune.

  13. If any of you commentors were alive during the early 60’s an in your first or second year at university, then you would know that Dylan’s voice and musical capabilities had nothing to do with his phenomenal success. He was signing what was in our hearts and souls and we all knew it and wanted to sing with him. We didn’t even care about dancing again!!!!

  19. I think you are kinda right. I watched him rehearse for We Are The World USA for Africa and he was all over the place for a moment (or in other words, outta tune). Couldve been because he was just learning the song and needed more time with it. But, although he doesn’t have THE BEST singing voice, his uniqueness makes it not matter. He’s got a cool Bob Dylan voice lol. Maybe you’ll like his other songs like "Times are a-changing–"more of his folksy songs. Would be nice if u had proof tho 🙂
