  1. Thank you for your interest and comment. Have you been to the cigarboxnation site? Enjoy.

  2. Love the contraption you be playing on… kinda cigar box, but a touch bigger. and a reso… love it

  3. Thank you for your comment. The documentary is finished. We are in the process of finalizing arrangements for it’s release. Enjoy.

  4. @EVONINJA01 Thank you for your comment. The platform is the greatest place to get some good practice time in ( and also make a few bucks too.) Enjoy.

  5. The video is done, but first it will appear at documentary festivals. We are targetting the US, United Kingdom and Australia first. I was working on the song list the other day and I believe people interested in this style will find this video entertaining and educational. Enjoy.

  6. Thank you for your comment. Actually the riders of New York are very friendly and generous. Many miss trains just to hang out, but with so many people you are bound to meet some characters. Very nice suggestion about making a tab book to accompany the video. A bit of work though, but a great idea. The video will contain information about resonators and the bottleneck style. Also a very revealing interview with the son of the inventor of the resonator guitar, John Dopyera Jr.

  7. Pearls before swine….
    Love those New Yorkers…
Keni, is any of this gonna be available in tab form, and will you talk about tuning, your cigar box resonator, lyrics to the songs, etc etc?
btw , I love the guy who doesn’t believe your a street performer and then you start playing lol lol lol..

  8. Thank you. The video is still in the editting stage. The film maker’s wife just recently had a child, so their hands are full. He wants to do a quality job. We may need to add some additional footage to round out the production. So, please stay tuned. Hopefully soon. Enjoy.

  9. Hi Keni – This would be great to see, is it available yet?

  10. Thank you. I will get in touch with Ben soon, and see what his schedule is like. Talk to you soon.

  11. Indeed we will get it done Keni 🙂 Hope things are well my friend..I saw your new postings…awesome as always sir.

  12. Thank you. We only have a little more video to shoot. Hopefully, soon after all this summer activity is over and it is a little cooler on the platform. Please stay tune.

  13. Wow!! That was really cool, love the blues and this should be great. Look forward to seeing the rest.

  14. Thank you. We still have one more shoot to complete the documentary. Hopefully we will finish soon.

  15. Thank you Rich. No, actually he was saying I looked and sounded too good to be a street musician. Some of the guys who play on the platforms have seen some hard times, and look pretty dirty. Many people have voiced some nice comments to me. We should have the documentary completed soon. Just a small delay in scheduling the last shoot.

  16. Thank you. This is the second clip from my upcoming documentary entitled The Street Performer. If you would like to see the first clip, please visit my page. Yes, Happy Father’s Day 2008 to all!

  17. That was great. It had a documentary style view. MOre of this would be welcome. Hapyy fathers day to all you out there.

  18. Thank you. I really enjoy sitting on the street and performing. I think it makes for a more enjoyable time for the audience to be able to interact with the performer. (Also for me) Life becomes Art. Art becomes Life. No separation.
