Slide guitar is an incredibly bluesy sound. Well, it “can” be bluesy or it can sound like a complete mess. In this lesson, we’ll cover a simple melody line that you should practice to help you level up your slide skills.

Single note lines will help you:

1. Keep the right amount of pressure on a string
2. Keep the slide out of the way of other strings
3. Help you hear where you miss notes so you can self-correct
