Visit www.activemelody.com to download the tablature and jam tracks for this guitar lesson. Be sure to look for EP015! This is a follow-up to the fingerstyle rhythm lesson (EP014). In the previous lesson I showed you how to play the rhythm part, however this guitar lesson focuses on playing a lead. This is inspired by Eric Clapton.

  1. Hi, Brian! Thanks for the lesson!
What guitar is this? I can’t find any reference to it… Thank you much!

  2. Great lesson!! You told about the guitar but I have a question about the mic. Can you tell us more details about the mic you’re using. Thanks! I love your lessons.

  3. Well I was going to have a productive weekend and do some housework, but instead I’ll have to learn this.

  4. Great stuff Brian. Gong to have fun with this one.
    Thanks!

  5. That guitar sounds great and great lesson, always wanted to get into Clapton’s style!

  6. Love the lesson. Even if I don’t win it, I am buying one of those guitars when it comes out. Always preferred smaller guitars, and my old Ibanez DTME is about worn out. Even though it is smaller, it has a very similar tone to that Alvarez.

  7. Awesome, you just keep coming out with great lessons.
